Members Only Dressage

It was quite a relief when the sun came out for our members only dressage competition at Urchinwood Manor on Saturday 31 May.  The tests had to be held indoors as the weather had been so wet the ground was sopping, so members were allowed to use the outdoor arena to do their warm ups. 

Suzanne Pound, a new riding club member, did extremely well in the Mountain and Moorland classes at the Bath and West show the previous day and then went on to win two classes in our members only dressage.  I understand she will be showing Drummersdale Josh at the Three Counties Show and the Royal Cornwall Show so we wish her well with her showing. 

Lynn Pugsley’s coloured mare Izzy was extremely well behaved and went on to win both her classes in the dressage.

Many thanks to Lyne and Laura for writing for our two judges and also to Tara for stewarding and test calling for some of our riders.

The entry was not large, but the members who came enjoyed themselves and all went home happily clutching test sheets and rosettes.  The results as follows:
