Brent Knoll Riding Club is affiliated to the British Horse Society and is a small friendly Club for members 17yrs or over. We try to run something for every member, ie. social events for non riders, or regular subsidised lessons, competitions, pleasure rides for riders. Friends and family are welcome to the social events. At the AGM the Club annual awards are presented, your ideas welcomed and supper is provided.
The Club is in Area 12 each year there are Area competitions for individuals and teams in all disciplines. Winners of the Area Championships go on to represent their club for the national championships. Brent Knoll teams have been to the National Championships in recent years having qualified in both show jumping and horse trials. BKRC won the National Endurance Team Event in 2003.

Hard hats, to BHS specification, MUST be worn at all times whilst mounted or competing. Foreign breeds, if you wear Traditional dress you must sign a disclaimer.
Correct rider dress is expected in the jumping ring and in all showing rings.
The committee reserve the right to cancel, add to or alter any class they see fit. Classes may be split or combined if entries warrant.
It is the competitors responsibility to present themselves at the correct time for their class.
No refund of entry fees unless supported by a valid Veterinary Certificate.
Objections to be made to the Secretary in writing within 10 minutes of the end of the class and accompanied by a £10 deposit.
Dogs to be kept on a lead at all times, whilst on the showground.
Competitors are requested not to leave litter or to muck out horse boxes on the showground.
No galloping in the field.
All ridden horses/ponies must be four years or over. Stallions must be under control & bitted at all times.
