Skittles evening

A fun skittles night is arranged for 31st May 2012 at 7.30pm at the Walnut Tree Pub in Hutton. It would be great if you could join us for a game of skittles and a buffet. Friends and family are welcome to come along too.

Cost is £5 for members and £7 for non members which includes the buffet.

If you are interested in joining us please let Lucy know by 26th May so that she can arrange the catering.

Natural Horsemanship Demo

We have now confirmed a date for our Natural Horsemanship demo, which will be Wednesday 13^th June, at Edington, near Bridgwater. We are still looking for demo horses, so if you have a horse or pony that has an “issue” you want resolving, please contact Lynn asap. Bronwen Packham uses kind sympathetic techniques to enhance your relationship with your horse. You will be amazed with what can be achieved, without force or fear. Spring Show Update: Show postponed

Due to the very wet weather Stretcholt have unfortunately said we are unable to go ahead with the show this Sunday, the 29th.

We hope to reschedule ASAP. Entries will be kept and when a new date is announced people can decide if they wish to carry entries over or cheques will be shredded.

Beach Ride 31st March 2012

This year’s beach ride is taking place on Sat 31st March on Berrow Beach. Meet at 10.00am. Please let one of the committe members know if you are going to attend so that we don’t set off without you! There will be two groups so that we cater for everyone: a “fast” group and a “not so fast” group. Don’t be shy, come along and have some fun!

Tack sale and membership night 7th March 2012

We will be holding a tack sale and a membership night at the Walnut Tree Inn, Winterstoke Road, Weston-super-Mare , BS24 9HD, on 7^th March 2012.

This is a great chance for you to meet the new committee members, have a drink, have a chat, join the club for the first time or renew your membership. You can also bring along some of your unwanted tack and there is bound to be someone who will be only too willing to take it off your hands!

The new committee are very keen to hear any ideas you might have for the coming year, so don’t be shy, come along and say “hi”. Bring along your friends and let’s make this club the “Best in the West!”
